Institutional Accessibility and Accommodation
The University of Texas at Austin is committed to ensuring that individuals have access to all UT Austin has to offer. Institutional Accessibility and Accommodation (IAA) has oversight authority for all concerns that fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Electronic Information Resources (EIR). They facilitate the interactive process with employees who are seeking workplace accommodations under the ADA and the PWFA.
Our Mission
Institutional Accessibility and Accommodation works with campus partners to ensure members of the community and the public have an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of campus life.
