Sarah Simmons serves as the Administrative Associate for University Risk and Compliance Services (URCS) at The University of Texas at Austin. She joined the URCS team in August 2026.
Prior to joining UT Austin, Sarah spent 12 years with Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU), where she held roles in branch operations leadership and compliance and earned her National Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) certification. Earlier in her career, she taught middle school Language Arts in Leander ISD.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Southwestern University in Georgetown and a Master’s degree in Education from Angelo State University. She also completed the UTeach Liberal Arts program at UT Austin.
A native Austinite, Sarah enjoys baking and exploring America’s national parks.
