Youth Protection Program Coordinator
Carley Gardiner came to the University of Texas at Austin in the Spring of 2017. She served in the Dean of Students office after working for youth-serving organizations across Texas, including Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas and CASA of Travis County. She joined the Youth Protection Program as a Coordinator in the Fall of 2021.
Carley is proud to advocate for the thousands of minors who visit the 40 acres and simultaneously serve the UT community. Carley is passionate about empowering UT's Camp Directors to be in compliance with the YPP policy and procedures, educating campus groups on youth mental health and safety, and getting student organizations involved in preventing abuse.
A native Texan, Carley lives in North Austin with her husband, Joey, and her Goldendoodle, Ellington. Carley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas A&M University and is proud to be a Longhorn!
