Investigator
April Tobias serves as an Investigator for the Department of Investigations and Adjudications (DIA) for the University of Texas at Austin’s University Compliance Services (UCS). Ms. Tobias was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
Ms. Tobias came to the university in 2017 from Travis County Adult Probation, where she served Travis County as a Probation Officer for 10 years. In 2017, Ms. Tobias was hired as an Investigator for Title IX Training and Investigations in the Office of the Dean of Students and transitioned into her current role with DIA early 2020.
