Let's Talk about Ethics in Higher Ed (UTLearn)

In this course, participants will discuss ethics and compliance issues that actually occur in higher education by reviewing recent stories from the news. Participants will become familiar with the role and function of University Risk and Compliance Services and several other resources available at UT Austin. The course will also highlight how employees can help support and maintain an ethical workplace at UT Austin.
 

There is an online version and a classroom version of this course.

  • The online version involves some reading and written discussions with your classmates, similar to a discussion forum. It can be done at your own pace over a two-week period.
     
  • The classroom version involves some reading and verbal discussions with your classmates over 2 hours via Zoom or Teams.
