Director of Intake and Assessment
Matthew Gutierrez joined the team in 2020 where he serves as the Director of Intake and Assessment for the Title IX Office. Through his role, he has assisted in eliminating the backlog of complaints and streamlining the reporting process.
Between 2018 and 2020, Matthew worked for grant programs funded by the Office of the Texas Governor’s Criminal Justice Division. During his tenure there, he worked with law enforcement, prosecution, and victim services to combat violent crimes towards women.
In 2017, Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2019, Matthew received his master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. He also holds a certification in Mental Health First Aid.
